The Central Bank of the Russian Federation lowered the key rate again
Starting from September 15, 2025, the indicator is 17%. The previous value – 18% – was set in July of this year.
The Central Bank of the Russian Federation indicated that annual inflation was estimated at 8.2% as of September 8. It is projected that it will decrease to 6-7% in 2025 and return to the target of 4% in 2026.
The regulator will maintain such tight monetary conditions as are necessary to bring inflation back to its target.
The next meeting on the key rate will be held on October 24, 2025. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation will make a decision based on the sustainability of the slowdown in inflation and the dynamics of inflation expectations.
